Abubakar Umar Jarengol
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Nassarawa State University Keffi in 2009 and he holds an advanced diploma in public administration from the University of Abuja from 2000 to 2001. He also holds a diploma in Physical Health Education from the University of Maiduguri, which he completed in 1994. Mr Jarengol commenced his professional career as a Personal Assistant to the Honorable Minister at the Ministry of Internal Affairs from 1998 to 1999.
While he was at the state assembly, he sponsored the health practitioner bond bill, hospital autonomy bill, primary healthcare bill, education tax fund bill, and today, all of the bills are now laws in Adamawa State. He was a member of the insurgent victim support committee, and he was also a member Amiru Hajj Committee 2013 pilgrimage in Adamawa State. From 2015 to 2025, he held the position of Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, focusing on trade, investment, and international affairs. On May 22, 2025, he was appointed as the Executive Operations/Technical Officer at the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), where he currently serves. Mr. Jarengol has extensive experience in both political and managerial roles. He is married and is blessed with kids.
