Mr. Dayo Babaranti Ayandayo
Babaranti Ayandayo Rasheed, Mr., possesses a Masters degree in Economics from Lagos State University, awarded in 2007, and a Master’s Degree in Business and Finance Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, conferred in 2000. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics in 1990.
He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, as well as an Associate Member of the Institute of Marketing.
Mr. Babaranti commenced his career as a Debt Recovery Officer at the Societe Generale Head Office in Lagos in 1992, progressively advancing to the position of Branch Operation Manager
within the same organisation. In 2000, he joined Global Bank PLC Lagos as the Head of the
Credit and Marketing Department, ultimately rising to the position of Head of Corporate Banking. In 2005, he transitioned to Intercontinental Bank PLC as a Relationship Manager in
Retail and Personal Banking, where he concluded his tenure in 2010 as the Regional Head of Special Assets and Debt Recovery.
In 2010, he was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Correlation Global Ventures, serving in this role for four years. Following this, he became the General Manager and
Chief Executive Officer of Osun Micro Credit Agency in Osogbo, where he dedicated six years of service.
In 2020, Mr. Babaranti was appointed Executive Director of Finance and Administration at the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority in Abeokuta, Ogun State, a position he held until
his appointment as Executive Director of Finance and Administration at the Nigerian Agricultural
Insurance Corporation on May 22, 2025.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rasheed has held various managerial and supervisory roles and has
participated in numerous training programs, both domestic and international. He is married with children.
